Do you love horses and ponies? Girls and boys ages 5 to 18 are welcome to join in the fun at our club meetings and activities. We learn just about everything you want to know about horses and ponies including breeds, behavior, communication, conformation, safety, health, first aid,
stable management, care, feed & forage, grooming, evaluating, types of riding, equipment, how to ride and show and so much more. |
4H is all about hands on doing & learning that’s why it’s so much fun and unforgettable! We participate in many activities such as leadership, public speaking, demonstrations, arts & crafts, exhibits, careers with animals, group social skills at many events such as
4H Activity Day, Peppermint Ponies Riding Club, Horse Shows, Stratham and Deerfield Fairs, Eastern States Exposition, local horse shows and more. Community service is accomplished through events such as Fremont Day and the Horse Apprentice Program. We fundraise, offer financial aid, and donate to the (NHSPCA) and other horse/animal organizations.

You will make lots of new friends from many different backgrounds and locations. Some of these pals will become your best friends forever!
"Because my daughter grew up with horses..." A nice article to read.
4H is over 100 years old and is funded through the US Department of Agriculture and the University of New Hampshire's Cooperative Extension Service of Rockingham County. All leaders are volunteers and not paid. |
