2014 Peppermint Ponies Calendar

Do you love horses and ponies?  Girls and boys ages 5 to 18 are welcome to join the fun and friendship at our club meetings and activities. No experience necessary or horse ownership. Just a clear interest in equines.  We learn just about everything you want to know about horses and ponies including breeds, colors, markings, behavior, communication, conformation, safety, health, first aid,
stable management, care, feed & forage, grooming, English and western tack. Learn how to ride, show, drive.

4-H is all about hands-on. You will learn and do at every activity. 4-H is great is you have lots of energy and want to be outside with the animals in a barn setting. Unloading a wagon of fresh cut hay is unforgettable fun! We participate in horse science, community service, leadership, citizenship, safety, career exploration, public speaking, arts & crafts.
We are part of Rockingham County and participate in many county and state events: 4-H Activity Day, Peppermint Ponies Riding Club, Horse Shows, Stratham and Deerfield Fairs, Eastern States Exposition, local horse shows and more. and the Horse Apprentice Program. We fund raise, offer financial aid, and donate to the (NHSPCA) and other horse/animal organizations.
4H kids
You will make lots of new friends from many different backgrounds and locations. Some of these pals will become your best friends forever!

"Because my daughter grew up with horses..." An inspiring article to read.

4-H is over 100 years old and is funded through the US Department of Agriculture and the University of New Hampshire's Cooperative Extension Service of Rockingham County. All leaders are volunteers and not paid.

We were established in 2005 by Jan Brubacher of North Road Farm in Fremont, NH
